Moderne Life was opened in 2000 by Sandi Young. The knowledge that life was too short to spend it doing something that you are not passionate about was her starting point.

There was a genuine need for good quality, affordable contemporary furniture in the tri-state area. Her goal was to create the type of business she had desired as a customer, but could never find outside of the New York fashion scene. One where customers could get everything they need to furnish their contemporary home, all in one place, from people who genuinely care. Moderne Life Interiors is now working on a “green campaign.”

The emphasis is on customer service, which is hard to find in our fast-paced world. The design trained sales staff makes home visits to do floor planning and make sure all custom ordered merchandise is perfect. The intimate surroundings, great music, personal service and a cute dog behind the counter leave customers walking out happy with cash still in their pockets!
